Brian Shaw, who has led Ayrshire Rivers Trust (ART) for the past seven years will sadly be leaving at the end of December. This is a great blow to ART where he has been the inspiration for a multitude of new ideas and has overseen substantial growth in our activities. His new job will be Biologist for the River Spey which takes Brian back to a part of Scotland near to where he was brought up but is also a plum job. We are very sorry to lose him but wish him all the best in his new post.
ART are pleased to announce that Stuart Brabbs (currently Catchment Officer ) is to be promoted to Trust Manager with effect from 1st January 2012. He will head up ART and assume most of Brian’s responsibilities.
